Reservation Procedures Reservations for the Indoor Group Camp are accepted through the mail or in person up to one year in advance. Feews and other rules are listed on the application form. The Indoor Group Camp is open from mid April through the last weekend in October. More information on indoor group camps at Wyalusing and other Wisconsin parks and an application form can be found here. The application form can also be loaded directly here, a 40KB pdf file. Dormitories The four dorm buildings can house up to 27 persons each. Each dorm is divided into two sleeping areas (12 persons each) with bunk beds. A center counselor's room will hold three persons. There are two bathrooms in each dorm. Bathrooms have showers, toilets, and sinks. Campers must provide their own sleeping bags or sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and toiletries. Two of the four dorms are fully accessible. Heat and hot water are provided. There is no air conditioning. Other Important Information A Department staff person will admit your group into the camp. Please report to the park office upon arrival at the park.
Additional annual stickers for vehicles registered to the same address can be purchased at 1/2 price ($12.50 residents and $17.50 non-residents).
Please note: A camping day runs from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. the following day. Incoming campers need to be aware that they might not be able to enter the Indoor Group Camp facilities until 3:00 p.m. During the months of September, October, April and May, the park office closes at 4:30 p.m. In-coming groups must arrive before 4:00 p.m. for check- in. Lodge The main lodge houses the kitchen, dining, and meeting facilities. The kitchen is equipped with a gas range (two ovens, six burners, and a griddle), large refrigerator, large freezer, microwave, commercial dishwasher (detergent is provided), coffee percolator, and all cooking, serving and eating utensils. There is a storage room, bathroom with a shower, and a pay telephone (608-996-2224), but it is suggested that the group bring a cell phone as the quality of service of the pay phone has been questionable over the last year. A large charcoal grill is available just a few steps outside the kitchen. Groups must provide their own food, dish cloths, towels, paper towels, and other kitchen supplies. |
